Nestled in the Himalayan range at 12000 ft is the Churdhar peak, blessed with spectacular landscapes . At 7000 ft below the peak lies the Himgiri nature camp and resort, 53 kms from Solan or 93 kms from Kalka on the Solan – Haripur Dhar road. With independent log huts and 20 tents the resort and camp offers a variety of activities including air rifle shooting, archery, treks, some wildlife, mahaseer fishing on the Giri River or the natural waterfall at Nohra, 7 kms away or the famous Renuka lake and wildlife sanctuary an hour’s drive.

Churdhar Trek : This is a 5 hrs climb upto the Shiva temple. The trek offers striking views of the Kedarnath and Badrinath peaks and the snow, ranges of Lahaul and Spiti. Many other smaller treks and walks are also available.
